Do you ever ask your child a question and then instantly regret asking?

DS was just sitting here and he was smelling his fingers and before I bothered considering whether I really wanted an answer it came out. He didn't have a answer so I decided to let it go. That was a close one. I really don't want to know what he was smelling his fingers for. Boys are gross.

This isn't the first time I have asked a question before thinking on whether I want an answer. How about you?
