  • I have had 4 but actually a total of 5... I don't like to bounce around and get pretty settled in jobs. My first job was in a factory and I was there for 6 yrs. My second was working at a hospital and I was there for about 10 months. The 3rd was working at a school in the cafeteria and I stayed there about 2 yrs, which I started when my son started school. And now my fourth is going on 6 yrs as well working as an admin asst.

But the best I have is the one where I am called mom.... I stayed home when he was little and then got back at it. I love being a mom and I wouldn't give that up for no amount of money!!! :0)

  • I've only had 3 and I'm 33, but I haven't worked since I was 22.

30 is way too many at her age. I'm surprised she's still getting hired anywhere. She hasn't shown herself to be reliable.

  • I'm 49 and have held what seems to be a zillion different jobs. As long as your cousin hasn't been fired or left on bad terms there's nothing wrong with having a bunch of different jobs. Some people simply get bored with doing the same job and want to try something new.

  • Let's see. I started working at 13 and had many jobs before I graduated, I also worked 2 jobs at a time for most of my life:

    local grocery store
waitressing at a hotel restaurant before school
    Bob Evans
    Bill Knapps
Walmart (this is where I finished high school)
live in nanny+midnight audit at Super 8
supervised a group home for mentally handicapped adults
owned a daycare and tutored for the local college
substitute taught and continued to tutor for the local college
taught at a high school level
taught at a college level + worked as a grant administrator for a state funded youth employment program
currently: teaching at a college level at night and teaching finance and employment classes at the unemployment agency.

I guess that puts me at 19 if I counted correctly.

  • I have had 11 and I am 34. A lot of times I worked two jobs at the same time.

30 seems like a lot, but if she worked more than one job at a time it could actually not be that many job switches. I figure as long as you aren't getting fired from every job, then it isn't really a problem.
