Do you keep your jewlery in a safe deposit box?

If so, were they appraised before you locked them up?

  • I keep most of my jewelry in a fire safe. I really should have my appraisals re-done. They are all very old, 12-15+ years old.

  • If I did, I would. But I don't so I didn't. I just wear mine, and lose it while shoveling and find it in the spring. lol.

  • No, the only things I have of value are my engagement ring, one diamond necklace and my pearls. They are insured but I wear them all too often to keep them in a safe deposit box.
