hai .. i would like to ask for an advice ? my son .. now in his 14th month ,wel he's having loose stools for over a week .. and he also dont have his usual appetite for solid foods like rice, bread and pastas .. during this week of his diarrhea sometimes he's having some light fever ??? can i have some advice for this ? does it have to do with his milk?? or weather ??

  • It could be from anything. Have you asked his physician? I'd start there. It could be a virus, it could be teething, it could be an allergy.

  • yap i have already been there..his physician said its because of the weather ?? well im not convinced :/ i alwys think its the teething ?? does the symptoms relate for a teething-case ??

  • Yes, I always thought my kids did the same when they were teething. Is there a weather change where you are? I mean, it could be allergies too.

  • The symptoms do sound like teething. I'm not sure that the weather in itself causes diarrhea and feeding changes. Do you have infant Tylenol you could give him for the teething pain? Or put a damp washrag in the freezer and then let him chew on it with his gums?

  • My daughter went through those symptoms exactly when she was teething. Particularly smelly diarrhea/loose stools, low-grade fever, and barely eating. If he's still urinating, I wouldn't worry too much. Frozen baby washcloths were very popular with my DD.
