Should i stay or should i go?

i have been at my recent job for 4 1/2. i used to love it then i started not liking it so much maybe 8 months ago . im so comfortable here as far as dress code, its very lenient, im comofortale here however im just sick of this job overall. im thinking if i leave thisjob how do i kno my new job wont be like this. theres health benefits but no retirement, no 401k nowhere to move up relly in the company. theres coworkers thats been here for 40 yrs.(seriously) and cant retire. i just need some encouragment. should i stay or should i go?

  • I wouldn't change anything until you've already found a job with the things you're looking for. If there's no room for growth then the dress code really shouldn't matter.

  • It's easier to find a job when you already have one, and they're hard to come by right now. Look fr a new position before you let go of the one you have.

  • You can set up your own retirement plan. Go to a place like Edward Jones and have them help you plan for your retirement.

    But like everyone else already said, look for a job while you keep this one.
