my 5 year old is runnin a fever of 100.8 how do i get it to brake

  • You posted in the worng section, just in case you want to move this.

    That is not a high fever and fever actually helps the child to recover (raise the temp and kill off the bad bugs) At 5 you should know which type of medication your child shoul take but I would generally suggest children's tylenol. This would only treat this symptom nd achiness. Do NOT give asperin.
    You do not say if there are other symptoms.
    You can also have him bathe on a tepid bath to help to lower the fever.
