  • Maybe for a half day or a few hours and see how he feels. I hope he feels better soon.

  • Hve you asked him if he feels well enough? Try that first.

  • If he feels fine, sure. He's old enough to know if he's okay or not.

  • I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled when I was 17 on a Friday, went back on Monday. My face was still swollen and bruised, but I was able to deal. I would think he would be fine to go back to school, unless he's got some kind of infection or something going on with it beyond the typical pain associated with having them pulled.

  • If he's feeling fine, he ought to go back. Swelling is not a valid excuse to miss school in my book. That's just vanity.
I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at once (the lower ones were impacted. I was sick on the pain meds that day and night - vomiting and miserable. Once those were out of my system I felt much better - sore, but better. 2 days later on a weekend I met friends out for dinner - they ate, I had a shake. I know everyone's pain tolerance is different and recovery times vary, but if he's only on tylenol and advil I think he's probably just fine to go back to school

  • If he isn't in pain, why not send him?
