I just heard back from admin about April Fool's Anon Day....

i wrote them the other day...and added this link to a question

want to sponsor - ANON DAY in answer section on April Fools Day? i know a lot of members feel that cafemom has ignored the answer section and some even think you want it gone. sponsoring this anon day on April 1st, would really surprise quite a few moms who have been on your site for years, and what better free advertising for your site is there than, (positive) word of mouth. Do not even have to spend a cent on mugs or totes, just back us and mention April Fools in answer section... some kind of tab or link would freak so many out...that would be an April Fools joke on US...think about it

they wrote back today....

Thank you for your message. We will share it with others at CafeMom. The CafeMom Admin Team -

i just wrote them back again
i asked....

"what does that mean- share with others?"

your thoughts?

  • Don't call us, we'll call you. Actually, don't call us, we won't call you either.

  • Probably one person answering the e-mails and will share with the rest of the CM staff as a possible idea. Though I doubt they'd actually go for it. Maybe the have the rookies answering e-mails who don't yet know proper protocol LOL.

  • It's the proverbial "we'll see" an uninterested parent gives to a kid--it means, in your dreams, but I'm not going to come out and say no because I don't feel like dealing with it if you pitch a fit.

  • LOL. I would interpret that as

    :sigh: No Mean No!

  • It means that we sponsor our own games, just like we always have. What were you hoping for?
