Would you "stand by your man" (or woman, as appropriate)?

Our local radio station has been having a blast with the whole Zumba prostitution thing, even though we're nowhere near where it happened.  It was just on the news that the guy who was behind it is sentenced to 20 days and fines, and they showed his wife, sobbing, get up to speak on his behalf.  For those who haven't been following - that's on behalf of her insurance agent husband who was sleeping with and pimping out a hot little Zumba instructor who is facing over 100 counts of prostitution.

If your SO was involved in that kind of scandal - would you speak up and ask the judge for leniency?

  • I guess it would depend on how much I thought he was innocent. If I really felt like it was just an accusation and he was just being framed then yes I probably would, as a wife should do. But if he admitted to it or if I knew it was true, fuck no.

He confessed and apologized and begged for mercy, so there's no gray area on this one.
