A lady came to the Pharmacy today to have a prescription filled for her 3 year old son. His name, given name, is Homie!

WTH! Why on earth to people think it's "cool" to give their children such ridiculous names??

Did you think about the future of your children when you named them?

  • Yes. My kids have very normal names. I can't imagine calling my kid Homie. Ever.

  • Yeah, that's exactly what I thought when I heard that a friend of mine knew someone named Scheherazade. Great hostorical woman, but really?

Answer by Ballad at 2:04 AM on Mar. 22, 2013

  • It all depends on where you live :) Scheherazade is not an uncommon name around here - we have a large North African (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia ...) population.

  • Yes I did and they are standard names.
