Activity for children *I will vote best answer*

Good Afternoon Cafemoms!!!!
I'm currently student teaching at this new school. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. My task for tomorrow is to come up with a little 10 minute game for children ages 6-9.
Do any of you ladies have any ideas?
For example, we could play "spiders and flies" or even "what time is it Mr.Fox" but I was thinking of something a little different!
I'll love to hear your ideas, so if you have anything you would like to share, it would be greatly appreciated!

  • Hangman. Put the puzzle on the board from their spelling words, vocab, etc and have them take turns guessing letters and puzzles.

Story telling. Start a story and have the kids take turns adding to the story. I actually do this with my 3 year old preschoolers. They don't do such a good job but they are creative.
