About how long will baby sleep in a bassinet?

  • I kept my sons in their bassinet (which was next to my bed) for about 6-8 weeks, then I moved them to the nursery and into the crib. I guess it was around the time when they were sleeping about 4+ hours at a time, and I didn't have to breastfeed every 1-2 hours!

  • yes till they outgrow it. my son outgrew his after a month...so much for getting 2. good thing they were all given by friends and family from the baby shower.

  • up to 3 months is what I always heard...but I put my son in the bed with me lol!
