  • Chips, sharp cheddar, black beans, jalapenos. Add ons I won't object to: corn, salsa, sour cream.

  • Hubby and I buy tostito (sp?) chips, the ones that look like little bowls and put them side be side in a cake pan than fill them with steak or chicken, a jalapeno each, some salsa or green sauce and put shredded cheese on top. Some times we bake the sour cream on them too and sometimes add it after. SO GOOD! lol

  • Chili's used to make nachos in which they layered every single chip with taco meat, melted cheese, and a jalapeno slice and then threw some chopped tomato and sliced black olives over it and topped it off with a dollop of sour cream and guac in the middle for dipping. THAT is the perfect nacho platter!!! Only BS part was that you only got like 10-15 chips cuz they were all so tediously put together lol.

  • I like the works. Refried beans, chicken or seasoned beef, melted cheese, olives, avocadoes, lettuce, pico de gallo. Lots of chips. I can't eat jalapenos anymore because I had ulcers at one point. I can't stand just the plain cheese sauce nachos.

  • I like them fairly simple -- chips, then cheese, then salsa, then jalapenos, then sour cream.

Sometimes I like to add some seasoned meat to them.

  • French fries instead of chips, carne asada, refried beans, guacamole, cheese, and sour cream. Maybe some diced fresh tomato.

  • Everything but the kitchen sink...

chips, refried or black beans, shredded cheese (not melted...I'm weird that way), gucamole, salsa or pico de gallo, sour cream, black olives, green onions, tomatoes, maybe some cilantro and lime or taco sauce.
