Is the name Susannah too old fashioned?

I kinda like Susannah Ivy but is it too outdated ?

  • I don't think so. It's much better to go with a classic name than throw some Scrabble tiles on the table and call it a name.

    If you like it, use it, just make sure you're okay with the nicknames that a long name usually brings.

  • Susannah is just a variant spelling of susana we just personally prefer that spelling I like zuzu, zanna, Annie, sukey or Susie. Not so much sue.

  • Not outdated, I love old fashioned, classic names. She can go by Suzy or Anna as a little girl, or Susan or Anne as an adult if she wants. There are great variations if for some reason she doesn't like the original name. I like it a lot!

  • No, it's not too old-fashioned. It's beautiful; I love it. I actually thought of using it when I had my baby girl, because it means "lily" and God provides for the lilies of the field.
