Can someone tell me how long a Florida foster care license is good for? Thank you!

  • It should be easy to find out by calling the county courthouse.

  • Have you tried googling it? I would think the department that handles that would have a website, and you might be able to find it on there.

  • I tried but all I could find is how long it takes on average to get your license.

  • A general rule is that a license anywhere is good for 2 years however you have to keep it updated with so many class training hours per year. Your best bet would be to email someone in the county you are thinking of moving to and asking them.
