Thanks to all of you who responded, results of the "pet" poll!

My son had to give a poll over spring break, we chose the pet poll, he was supposed to ask 20 people, but we wanted to ask 100 the question was do you have a dog, cat, both or other?
You all were of great help here is what we found-
If you have only one cat you are more likely to have a dog and "other"
If you have more than 2 cats you are less likely to have a dog and other
If you have more than 2 dogs you are more likely to have a cat and others
If you have no dogs or no cats you are less likely to have any others!
He really enjoyed the assignment, and thanks to all of you who answered the question, we called almost everyone we knew, and he also polled the grocery store employees!

  • Very cool results, and its pretty accurate for us. 2 cats, and I have no desire to ever own a dog again.

  • I never thought I would be a cat person, but kids take you out of your comfort zone and make you do a lot of things you might not have done on your own. So the cat was a late addition, after the dog and birds.
