My mother in law believes anything free is a godsend. She gave us expired baby food from a "food pantry" that her local church has. I'm finding conflicting info on internet as to whether it's safe or not but was wondering what your thoughts and experiences were.
The food I bought all say "25Jul14." I'm assuming it's good til July 25 2014.
So it worries me that she gave some that says "01Dec10" and "20Apr12."
Some info I found says always use by date if its food for a baby. Some says it's good but less nutritional value and less quality of taste. She said the pantry told her it's safe.
