Babies Next Dr Appointment Is...

my DD turned 8 months yesterday & i realized we never scheduled our next Drs appointment. do babies go in at 8 or 9 months?

  • Our pediatrician's office sees them at 9 months and then again at a year.

    The appointments are NOT only for shots as some would try to lead others to believe. They are well visits to make sure the baby is still healthy and to help keep track of its development.

  • as long as your baby is healthy you dont need to go to the doctors. Skip the shots. educate before you vaccinate.

  • thanks! i was pretty sure it was 9, but wanted to make sure. im glad theres no shots! i hate them!

    Loa, thanks for your concern, but i did my research long before her first shots. you shouldnt assume all ppl who take their kid to the dr and/or get shots are uneducated just b/c we come to a different conclusion then you.

  • I just had to add that I think it is insane for the mothers that think it is ok to NOT vaccinate. JMO
