Any takers?

Hope the clicky works. I always seem to have trouble with it. Wonder if anyone will put up the money and go for it?

  • Some guy already did it, before they claimed it needed to be "done in front of a judge" He sent them a PDF packet of all his research etc. He never got the money and now the same group is making the same claim and adding more stipulations to it.

  • why is it only the Abrahamic creation story is considered...why not the creation stories of other faiths?

Because the bible is the only document stupid enough to give concrete timelines to things when they could've just said "one day" and "after many years".

  • sounds like he has doubts about the validity of the bible.

  • first, what does "literal" translation mean? God creating the entire world in 6 24 hour days and that the Earth is only 6000 years old? cause im no scientist but we know a plant cant just appear in a 6 24 hour day week and carbon dating has already shown things to be over 6000 years old.

second, if i had 10K sitting around i wouldnt waste my time with this "show". religion isnt science and shouldnt be tried as such. why is it only the Abrahamic creation story is considered...why not the creation stories of other faiths?

  • This is hysterical.  Mastropaolo said that any evidence presented in the trial must be “scientific, objective, valid, reliable and calibrated."

A creationist insists that the evidence presented by both sides be valid, scientific and reliable?  LOL.  What sort of scientific evidence does he have of the Biblical "theory"?

I would love to see this in a real trial - provided that the judges on the list are impartial and that Mastropaolo didn't hand-pick them.  What a riot!

  • How about let's spend the money on a charity that benefits the world in a tangible way? Like feeding a family or buying shoes for those who have none, or saving the rainforest ...

  • It won't happen because this particular god-whore won't ACCEPT a valid scientific argument.
