What's a good recipe for homemade macaroni?

I love macaroni and I want to experiment more in the kitchen. I want to make homemade macaroni. Anyone have a good recipe?

  • Cottage Pasta Bake

    4 ounces fine noodles, medium noodles, or elbow macaroni
    1/4 cup finely choppd onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    1-1/2 cups creamy-style cottage cheese
    1 cup dairy sour cream
    2 teaspoons poppyseeds
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    dash pepper
    dash bottled hot pepper sauce
    paprika
    grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

    Cook noodles in boiling, salted water till tender. Drain.

    Cook onion and garlic in hot butter till tender. Add to cooked noodles.

    Stir in cottage cheese, sour cream, poppyseeds, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce.

    Pour noodle mixture into 10 by 6 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

    Sprinkle with paprika and Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serves six.

  • boil 1/2 a box of noodles until tender
    drain the water
    add buter (i don't measure, just cut off a chunk)
    add about 6-7 slices of american cheese, stir until melted
    add milk to thin it out (i don't measure it either, just add what i think is enough)
    add salt and pepper o taste
    EASY! and i never hve any left, family of 4...we eat all of it lol
