What are good easter egg fillers that are not choking hazards?

I don't want to put candy in ALL the eggs. She's 3 and her sister is 4 months.

So little tiny trinket toys are out- I just don't want them in the house. Stickers? What else?

  • Temporary tattoos? Bubble necklaces? I've also used Cheerios, and Annie's makes an organic cracker like Goldfish, only in the shape of bunnies.

  • When my kids were little they didn't like candy so we always put in goldfish/Teddy Grahms. (2-3 per egg, just make sure the inside is clean) For girl you could also use hair stuff.

  • Hair clips would be fun- though that is still a choking hazard- a pretty good one!

Hmmm- I definitely won't be washing the insides of all our easter eggs =P

Dad will probably eat all the candy anyways.

  • I just realized that if it fits in an Easter egg it is a choking hazard.
