A 4 month old and holiday gifts

So, obviously the baby doesn't care what is in her Easter Basket.

BUT her 3 year old sister would be crushed if baby didn't get one too!

Do you think anyone will care or notice if I just put stuff she already has in it? Like I have a toy stacker she got for Christmas from her Grandma that's still in the package. I was just going to put a package of diapers and that in a basket- maybe a baby toothbrush if I find one while I'm out shopping.

Anything wrong with that? It's just for fun and pictures. Obviously Grandma would see the pictures and notice, but I don't think she'll care. The gift that keeps on giving right?

  • Nothing wrong with it at all. Your three-year-old will be none the wiser.

  • As long as your three yr old doesn't notice its things she already has. One year I got my son a bag of the mixed mini Hershey bars and took out Mr Good Bar and the dark chocolate cuz I thought he didn't like them. I hid them in the deep freeze and he found them months later. He wanted to try them and says "these look like the same kind that were in my Easter basket." He also would take notice if the gifts from Santa had the same wrapping paper on it as the gifts from us so now I have to make sure it's all different. He's 7 now and he has always noticed things like that! I don't remember at what age it started though. My 8mo old is big enough for the little baby snacks so that's what is going in hers.
