2 Bumps

After a protein shake and a 3 mile jog, what do you recommend to eat for lunch & dinner?

It seems like I am always hungry.

And can you please be specific on what to eat only bc I am just starting out learning how to read these darn labels and stuff.

  • Turkey sandwich on whole grain break with veggies and mustard. Salad with lean protein and a light dressing or even a drizzle of lemon juice.

  • My favorite after workout snack is a peanut butter and banana wrap.

  • I wouldn't be able to eat, because I would be immobile on the couch, unable to move after a 3 mile jog, good for you, unless you need to lose weight, eat whatever you want after that1

  • Any lean protein, like turkey or chicken. Seafood, particularly fish, is good with veggies like kale, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, bell peppers. Add a brown rice or wild rice on the side. Quinoa is also good for whole grains. Whole grains fill you up longer. Foods with low glycemic index are great for after workout or all day eating.
