Anyone going to Watch "Game of Thrones" tonight?

Waited for almost a year, my husband is dreading Sunday nights Game of Thrones, but I love, love, love it. Can't wait to see my odd crush, Peter Dinklage!!!

  • You know HBO is running the first two seasons as a marathon right now? Just saw it as I was flipping channels. But I'm not leaving it on; my husband doesn't like the violence and I don't want my 13 year old seeing it yet.

  • Ms. Prissy, if you've read through the first two, you've seen plenty and won't be spoiled. Season 3 takes you through the middle of book 3. GRR Martin is still working on book 6. That's not expected to be published till 2015.

The series probably won't get to books 4 & 5 (which are concurrent in the story timeline) until the 2015 season, if this one is only covering half of book 3. And there have been slight differences between the books and the series, too.

  • Okay, please respond! Are you watching Season 3? Is this what you're referring to then? I can't get it so I wait for Netflix. but I just saw the Queen's father come in and save the war with Peter Dinklage being cast aside by himself. Is this right?
