Anyone with an iud, please let me know if this normal adult content

ok i'm going to have mine removed in dec. well here's the problem. for the past three months when i'm suppose to be on my period, my butts been bleeding. i know it's my butt, because the bloods not where it's suppose to be in my underwear. i just wanted to know if this is normal or should i try to see my dr?

  • I suspect this has nothing to do directly with your IUD. However, you would want to make a doctor's appointment to have it checked out. You also want to confirm that you have rectal bleeding by checking your bath tissue that you use to wipe...not by the placement of blood on your underwear.

    Regardless, you need to see your doctor

  • What kind of ISD do you have? If its the mirena then it's possible that your cycle had stopped. Many women stop having their period when on Mirena. In that case you would probably want to see a Proctologist if you are bleeding from your anus.
