List reasons a man would not file in court for his rights

man never married to a woman who had three children
he is on bc of all three
mother has issues, and kids taken away

why in the world would a man not file for his rights in court
(if he wanted these children with him)

in 48 of 50 states, a man has zero rights to the children if he was not married to the mother, even if his name on bc. just is a fact. in 48 of 50, he has to file in court and get his rights
--------------------------------
why would he not?

1) he has some record that would be a problem if he went to court
2) he really does not care, and just acts like he does in front of his wife (not the mother of other kids)
3)
4)
5)
.....

  • I think this is BS honestly. My SS mom is a joke and shouldn't be around children but since Utah gives no rights to the birth father, his dad has a hard time fighting to get custody. I think custody should go to who ever is the fit parent.

Oh mine in his is a single military man and unable to provided a stable environment

  • warrants
    record for child abuse
    lazy
but most likely one of the first 2 , because CPS would have came knocking on his door first, if there had not been any issue to begin with, I was so confused at first!

  • he saw kids with mothers approval
    now with grandmas approval

    nothing legal
something happened to mom- poof he has no rights
something happens to grandma- same thing will happen

he would have to file for his rights, his name on bc means nothing, a dna test and two weeks later- he is legal father and it is in motion
    kids would be with him
UNLESS, he has some history that court would not like
