Would you rather never be able to yell at your children again or never be able to hear them talk back (get smart) again?

  • I encouraged them talking back. Because of the talking back I was able to teach them the appropriate way and how to have discussions or debates.
They both went on to join the Debate class in H.S. and can debate most anything now.

  • Kind of an odd question, I don't like to and hardly ever yell at my children, but would also like for them never to talk back to me again.

  • I would rather not have to yell... seems like that is all I do hear lately. If I don't have to yell then that means that he isn't getting a smart mouth and talking back. A win win!!

  • I'd rather never be able to yell at my children again. I don't like myself when I slip up and do that.

  • I agree with you ladies, I hate yelling at my kids too. But sometimes the sighs and eye rolls and smart comments make me want to yell.
