Question about buying a mattress..

I'm shopping around for a mattress on Overstock, and they give you an option if you want

"King Mattress Set"

or

"King Mattress Set with low profile"

They both cost the same & it doesn't go into details - thanks!

  • Yep,the foundation is a third smaller
I'd go for the low profile, unless you love literally climbing into bed,lol

  • Compare measurements. Perhaps thinner boxspring?

  • Is the box spring like Stacie said. Some make the bed higher and some make the bed appear lower.

  • I wish that I had known about low profile when I bought my last mattress and box spring, I have to stand on my toes to climb into bed.

  • Not really a question until I ask what does ''low profile'' mean?

  • Maybe the first is higher or thicker than the "low profile" one?

  • the low profile one probably ends up sitting lower due to thinner mattress or box spring
