Taking a poll. Yes or no only ( kind of proving a point)

Say you have a teen, who is failing two classes in school & half ass listens. He is grounded to the house, but has been invited to a hockey game on Friday. Parents say NO, he is screaming yes.

Yes or no.

  • NO!!

He is grounded because he is failing not one, but two classes, and is disrespectful at home. His butt needs to be studying to bring those grades up. He also needs to adjust his attitude.

  • In my house, no. The ONLY POSSIBLE exception to this would be if the plans had been made before the grounding and someone was going to be out money for it - and by someone, I mean another parent or friend, NOT my kid or me. And even that would be pretty unlikely.
