  • That public forums can be brutal. I would say also that you have to take things with a grain of salt, but I learned that long before CM came along.

  • That there are actually really heated parenting debates of some things. Before CM I had no idea people were so passionate over bottles vs. breast, SAHM vs. Working, circumcised vs. intact, ear piercing, extended rear facing, extended breast feeding or how healthy the family eats. This was all news to me. I kinda thought it was all to each their own... and had never heard of extended rear facing...

  • Even with no physical contact there tends to be a lot of hurt butts. Maybe they've been sat on for too long?
