Is it okay to hang a small "auto rosary" from your car mirror?

Not a full size rosary, just a small one. Is that okay or is that a sin? I would like to hang something of significance from my rearview mirror and not sure what.

  • No. It's a sin and illegal. You will blind someone with it and cause a wreck. Don't do it. Curse of 8 years on you head.

  • There are some cities that have rules about hanging things off your rear view mirror actually. Just check with your city and then do what you wish....

  • Rosaries, even fullsized ones have been hung from car mirrors for many many years. Not it is not a sin.
Go to your Catholic bookstore and you will find other things you can mount or hang in your car.

  • Just call a city office...they can direct you to the right number. I know because they discussed this last year in my city.
