2 Bumps

A funny thing my 3 year old told the nurse yesterday...

The nurse asked my 3 year old "Does baby have a bottle?"

My girl looked at her with a puzzled face and says "My baby eats boobs!!"

The nurse seemed surprised, strangely I thought, and said "Oh... Well, that's okay too."

Don't you love what kid's say sometimes?

  • My five year old niece has asked me a lot of breastfeeding questions since my daughter was born. She has recently tied the baby nursing with our farm animals, since we have had calves, lambs, kids (baby goats, not actual children), puppies, kitten, chicks, ect. We had two litters of border collie puppies recently (from two different dogs) and she started asking questions. I squeezed a few drops of milk from one of the dogs and showed it to her (she wanted to see the difference between the dog milk and the my milk that I pumped for the baby). Suddenly, she asks "Dose that mean that we drink cow breast milk!" She's been milking cows since she was three. I didn't know that she hadn't made that connection yet.

  • I just told my kids "hey, will you people calm down".
And, my 6 yr old said: "we're kids, not people".
So I said: "kids aren't people, huh? Well, that explains it".

I thoroughly plan on having children who are literate in sarcasm.

  • Wow! You must have a lot of boobs stored away! LOL! Too cute! I was shopping when my Son was about 2. he was in the shopping cart at Marshall's. We got to the register & the cashier was telling him how cute he was & falling all over him. He looked at her, pointed to his pants & said "Poo Poo!" She turned beat red! :
