Who has posted recipes for balsamic chicken before?

I'm trying to find the recipe someone posted before and they told me it worked great in a crockpot. So I made it and it came up very good. I tried a different recipe tonight an it was so nasty. So if you have posted it before can you pretty please re-post the recipe?

  • I never posted it before, but I like this recipe. Haven't fixed it in a long while because my boyfriend doesn't care for balsamic vinegar.

    2 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, each cut in half
2 ripe pears, unpeeled, each cut into 8 wedges
    1 cup chicken broth
    3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    2 teaspoons cornstarch
    1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
    1/4 cup raisins

Heat 1 teaspoon vegetable oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts 10 minutes, turning once, or till juices run clearwhen thickest part of chicken is pierced with a knife. Set chicken aside.

In same skillet, add remaining oil and cook pear wedges till tender.

In small bowl, combine broth, vinegar, cornstarch, and sugar. Stir till smooth.

Add broth mixture and raisins to skillet. Heat to boiling, boil one minute. Return chicken to skillet, heat through.

  • Here is the one I make it's not crock pot though. :)
    1 teaspoon vegetable oil $
    Cooking spray $
    1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
4 (4-ounce) skinned, boned chicken breast halves $
    1/3 cup seedless raspberry preserves
    2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    1/4 teaspoon pepper

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion; sauté 5 minutes. Combine thyme and 1/4 teaspoon salt; sprinkle over chicken. Add chicken to skillet; sauté 6 minutes on each side or until done. Remove chicken from skillet; keep warm. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, preserves, vinegar, and pepper, stirring constantly until the preserves melt. Spoon raspberry sauce over chicken.
