Have you ever tried Mexican Coke? (soda pop)

That's exactly what it was called on the label, Mexican Coke. My boyfriend saw it at Walgreen's. The clerk said it's made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, and imported from Mexico. She said she won't drink any other soda since she tasted it, and it's flying off the store shelves. So I just wondered if anyone has tried it.

  • In the Dominican Republic Diet Coke was called Coca-Cola Light. We got a chuckle out of that!

  • Yes.. It's less bubbly and the taste is more mellow. I like regular Coca Cola better, guess I'm used to the high fructose corn syrup twang it has.

  • I've had Coke from Israel and England. Most countries don't allow high fructose corn syrup in their foods so they use real sugar. It's not as sweet and taste so much better. At the Coke museum in Atlanta they have Coke from other countries and it tastes so much better than soda in this country.

  • They sell it here since we're so close to the border, but I don't drink soda so I've never had it. The people I know that have had it like it better for the most part.
