What flower do you recommend to attract hummingbirds?

I love those magical creatures! Soon it will be time to put up the feeders and get the garden ready for them!

I've had the most success attracting them with bee balm.

  • We have an orange jubilee. The tortoise eats the low flowers and the hummingbirds hang out all day on the higher part of the plant. It's sort of a homely looking bush, but creatures love it.

  • Trumpet vines. They're fast growers, too. Hummingbirds seem to be attracted to red flowers.
