I'm going to start using the patch for bc. My period started last Tuesday I just picked up my bc, can I put the patch on today and be protected from getting pregnant

  • The patch umm idk I think the patch might take more than a day to protect you from getting pregnant ask your doctor I'm on the depo shot and so far my periods are gone and I haven't had another baby yet

  • i've never heard of being immediately protected by any form of bc. with my implanon, they told me atleast 5 days with a condom and on my pill, they said 7 days. you have to let the hormones start working with your body. your body will know what to do, but i don't think it's a good idea to start right away.
