How many of you believe in natural remedies?

If you found something that does the same as a pharmaceutical pill, but it is all natural would you replace it?

  • yes...if it was cheaper. sometimes its easier to get a $4 prescription than buy a $40 bottle of something from the health food store that may or may not work.

  • Depends on what I'm using it for. Some things can't be helped with natural remedies. Some things can benefit from them.

  • Sure, if it worked as well and had less or the same risks as a prescription drug. I used ginger and baking soda for years--separately, not together--to treat my stomach problems, but eventually it became necessary to get prescription Prilosec.

  • Natural remedies for common colds, cuts, scrapes, tummy aches etc yes. But not for major health issues like High Blood Pressure, Thyroid issues etc. Maybe for preventative measures but not for the specific issue if you already have it. For example in my case, I have high blood pressure which is hereditary. I don't smoke, drink regularly, I'm not over weight, I eat well & only sit when the baby is napping. So my overall health is fine but without meds, my HBP skyrockets as does everyone in my family who also are in good health otherwise.
