  • Yes. When I make my lasagna, it takes all day because I make the sauce. I let it simmer all day.

  • Yes sometimes. The manicotti I made yesterday took hours. My gumbo takes half a day. Beans too. There are lots of days I spend in the kitchen from sun up to sun set.

  • yes. I don't have the grocery store right next to me so If I don't have buns, I make them from scratch. I have learned to enjoy it, its relaxing if I am at home all day. I make a lot of breads from scratch, crescent rolls, pizza crust, sandwich bread, tortillas, cinnamon rolls, etc. The one thing I do spend a lot of time on is homemade ravioli, it takes me a lot of the day to prepare.

This is how I discovered Chinese food, never been in the restaurant itself but I made it and love it.

  • Yes, sometime I cook our traditional dish that is beef legs. I cook it whole night because it take long time to be cooked.

  • No, I am incredibly impatient. Just one of my flaws. I can handle a crock pot, but nothing I have to tend to all day long.
