has anyone heard of this? why would we have to do that? chemicals in it?
my sister just bought a baby mattress and was hoping to use it right away. she said though, that it recommends to be aired out from anywhere to 3 to 6 months!!!!
Probably because it's has a plastic (probably PVC) cover. Does it smell like a shower curtain? Then it should be aired out. She should also buy a really good thick mattress pad that goes on like a fitted sheet for it.
