Northern Lights

Apparently there is a good chance of Ohio being able to see the Northern Lights tomorrow night.  I am so excited...have always wanted to see them and never have.  I'm curious though for that that have seen them...

When it happens, do you have to look to the north to see them or are they right there above you?

  • In MN they were to the north but they were so prominent that you didn't have too look hard to find them. Hopefully it'll be the same for you. They're really quite interesting to see

  • I was in New Hampshire for the summer both time I saw them. I have no idea of the direction, it was more just look up. Both nights our curfew was extended to "stay out as late as you'd like just be where you need to be on time in the morning."

    It was awesome.
