Cute idea or no?

My dd's birthday is on earth day, for her birthday favors were thinking of giving saplings.

Any other cute earth based ideas?

  • If yo know all the invited guests have a place t plant the tree and would be willing o do so, I think it is cute. If hey don't it can be ver sad for a child. Another idea would be a flowr or herb plat. Very few people can not/ wil notplant a smaler item even if it only in a pot.
You know her guest better than we do.
"dirt pot" cups are a fun treat and the kids could make them with pudding and crushedcookies an gummy worms

  • I love both ideas, the saplings and the dirt cupcakes. I've seen them made in mini flower pots, complete with gummy worms.

  • Love it! My nephew gave us a pine sapling when he was 6. Now he's 26 & the pine tree is now over 16' tall! The gummy worm idea sounds great too! You could go to the party store & get a bag of plastic bus & top the cupcakes with them. Boys LOVE bugs! LOL!
