Never piss off a grandma!!!

Associated Press

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police gave a 63-year-old woman a junior police badge for holding an intruder at gunpoint after he smashed his way into her home.

Friends of Sandra Mize told The Spokesman-Review that she's soft spoken with a friendly laugh but they wouldn't cross the grandmother of 10.

Mize keeps a gun by her bed and hadn't fired it in 30 years until early Wednesday when she found the man in her home.

She fired one shot that missed. The intruder sat down and waited while Mize called police, although he fought with officers who arrived and arrested him

Although its amazing he fought the cops. But IMO, this guy was was an experienced enough and he who knew what he can get away with. He also knows Grandma woulda been justified in smoking his dumb ass if he got outta line! Thus his compliance with her. lol
She didn't miss with that first shot. And this lady meant business. Even the dumbass criminal figured that out.

  • Go, Grandma!

It's all in the authority and confidence a person speaks out from. A colleague my boyfriend has in the watch business was nearly robbed once by a teenage kid who had a gun and thought he was a bad ass. The way he tells the story, he looked the kid in the eye and, without raisin his voice, said he'd done two tours in Vietnam; he had a gun under the counter and he could have it pulled and fired before the kid took another breath. He told the kid to turn around slowly and walk right back out the door; the kid said "Yes sir" very respectfully and did as he was told.
