My five-year-old has a riddle. (Answered.)

She saw it on Littlest Pet Shop, and she's sort of burned out her live audience with it. So she asked me to tell it to "the computer ladies"--which is what she calls all of you. I thought it might lighten the mood a bit.

Why did the chicken cross the road two times?

He was a double crosser.

  • I hope she is not sitting there reading the answers like my kids would. My 7 year old loves to ask people in online groups questions.

  • Nope. She can't read yet, which is probably lucky for me. She and her dad are printing out pictures from the Internet. She was supposed to go outside and find flowers and rocks and things and make a spring collage for school tomorrow, but we've got five inches of damn snow on the ground and it's coming down like crazy! So they're printing out pics of dandelions, butterflies, prairie dogs, birds, and the like.
