Eeeww! *Vent!*

Okay, since when did, "Don't worry about the dishes, baby; I'll take care of them tonight" mean dumping everything in a sinkful of water to soak and then walking away and forgetting about the mess? I just stumbled on the nasty, cold grimy water--grrrr!

So have any of you had an "eeeww moment" today?

  • Men are like kids. You actually have to tell them what you expect them to do. With everything.

  • HA!
I woke up to that lukewarm, greasy mess in my sink yesterday morning.
DD was going to help with them before school and then got distracted.

  • Ha same thing happened with DH last night. I refuse to stick my hand in floaty food water.

  • You must be talking about something your DH did?

Well yeah, silly me. I thought when he said he would take care of the dishes last night, it actually meant he would rinse them off, put them in the dishwasher, and wipe out the sink. Everything's still sitting there soaking in a pool of cold, nasty water. I'll finish the job of cleaning up once my stomach settles. The windy weather is making my headaches flare up, which gives me a very easy gag reflex that doesn't work well with sticking my hands in greasy food-floaty dishwater.
