  • 1. yes, if BOTH people love each other because when you both love each other you are more willing to provide what each other needs for happiness. That being said, both parties need to know what love really is.
    2. also yes... a married couple can coexist well even if just friends. A lot of people do it but the quality of life is better if you have friendship and love together.

  • Successful relationships need:

    1.) Excellent communication skills
    2.) Honesty
    3.) Common interests/hobbies, likes/dislikes
    4.) Maturity
    5.) Respect/admiration of one another
    6.) Supportive partners
    7.) Space/freedom to explore individual interests

    If love still hasn't happened and you are able to accomplish all of the above, then I would say you are lacking physical chemistry, and should just stay friends.
