Is it illegal to distribute nude pictures of someone without their permission?

EDIT: The pictures do not belong to the person who distributed them.

  • Why would someone want to do that and possibly set themselves up for litigation?

    If the person is of legal age and you have their written consent then the 'model' may have a hard time prosecuting. Best thing to do is to ask an attorney.

  • not really. if someone takes your pic. they own the copyright and may distribute the pics as they see fit.


    you may however sue them in civil court for invasion of privacy.
