What are some crafts that kids can make and sell?

First grade is doing an economics day in a few weeks. I am in charge of finding crafts for each of the five first grade classrooms and then getting the donations of the supplies. So, I am in need of five craft ideas (1 craft for each classroom. Each class has 20 students in it). They will be making the crafts and then "selling" them on economics day. Any suggestions?

  • Dardenella, they have not set a date for economics day yet. They will be making the crafts on May 3rd.

  • Do you know how to make hersheys kisses roses? Very simple and it is candy and it could be for mom if it is close.
Do you sew? If you have an old white shete you can hem flags and then let the kids decorate them. The flag could be stapeled to an unsharpened pencil. You can use crayons and then heat set them, or markers, or stamps and paint. Stamps can be vegetables, fingertips, erasers etc.

Friendship bracelts are easy and is braiding.

Nobake cookies. Just mix and roll. (best to chill but not necessary) then pop into a baggie ortir saran wrap around one.

  • Get inexpensive fake flowers and small cups and let the kids make floral arrangements. Take wooden clothespins apart and glue them around the outside of baby food jars to make flower planters.
