I am leaving for vacation tonight, tips or advice on what I should not forget??

Travelling at night with a 3 year old and 4 month old starting at bedtime, 8 hour drive. Hoping they will just crash through it.

So i'm cleaning and packing, please add your expertise as to what I should NOT forget!!!

I have a house sitter and loaded shotguns, so the homestead will be safe!!

  • I forgot all of my baby's filled bottles in the fridge the first time I traveled with her. Had to buy new bottles and formula at my destination, lucky I had my breast pump also. I don't recommend doing that. It makes for a really bad moment when your baby decides she's hungry and there are no bottles in the cooler.

  • phone charger, camera charger, sunblock, first aid kit, deoderant, toiletries, contact solution, backup glasses, eyeglass repair kit, books for the little ones, water, date book, wet napkins...

All I could think of at the moment.

  • Lysol to spray down the shower, toilet & sink in the Hotel bathroom & slippers for everyone! Check the sheets too when you get there! From, one clean freak to another! :)

  • I will be bringing breastmilk on ice along with a few lbs of clams and some crabs.

My pain has subsided. SO also had swollen lymph nodes so he is checking into an urgent care to check for strep. I found a free urgent care in the area- wait times are 2-4 hours but they are open tonight so if I need antibiotics I will wait there. I think my gums were irritated from something and a viral or bacterial infection is making them worse.
