My neighbor mowed his yard and scattered the grass in my yard.

What do I do?

  • Bag it, and put it on his step. Or, if you don't want to start something that could make living there more difficult, ignore it for now, but make sure to always hang out in your yard when he's mowing.

  • I hate it hen that happens. The lawn guys in my condo complex do it regularly. They mow, but they don't seem to know cleaning up their mess is part of the job.

  • I'd do nothing now. But if he does it again, I'd just go over and kindly ask him to cut in the other direction next to your property so that the grass gets thrown back into his yard.

  • My neighbor has been doing this for years, and than when my brother mows our lawn, the same thing happens. Noone has ever said anything cause its not an issue that needs to be addressed.

  • Why did he do that? Have you asked him? Is it long strands or chopped up mulched grass? Actually we don't bag our clippings. The mower mulches them & drops them back on the lawn for nutrients. Our lawn is beautiful!
