would it be ok to use Cornbread mix if expiration date is 11/13/2012

  • Sniff it. If there's no musty smell and the mix has been kept dry in a sealed package, it's probably fine.

  • I'm not sure but I'm all about the date, if it's expired it's in the garbage.

  • It should be fine, most dry goods have at least 6 months past the date. The only issue would be if the baking powder doesn't let it rise. You'll know if you get flat, hard corn bread instead of normal. There's still nothing unsafe about it, except you might lose a tooth.
